Scientific name: Ornithogalum arabicum Maltese name: Halib it-Tajr Occurence in the Maltese islands: Frequent habitat: steppe, garigue, abandoned fields other info: very ornamental, but very rare in front gardens. often picked during flower time for decorations, which leads to the hazard of less seed production, endangering the species in question. anotherb species occur in the wild, and another one in cultivation. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
